About the event

Dr. Angelina H. Rodriguez will present Listening Beneath the Symptoms, which introduces participants to core principles of depth psychology in clear, accessible language and invites a shift in how addiction and emotional distress are understood. Rather than framing addiction as moral failure or pathology, the program explores it as a meaning-bearing response to psychic suffering. Through experiential, depth-informed practices adaptable to recovery settings, participants engage symbol, imagination, and the unconscious, cultivating greater curiosity, compassion, and relational approaches

to healing.

Connecting Communities

We connect and involve community members from all walks of life--drug prevention and treatment providers, families, businesses, law enforcement, communities of recovery, schools, the media--to increase public and private harm-reduction, prevention, treatment, and recovery resources for local neighborhoods and communities.
